2025 5th International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Information Engineering (ECIE 2025) has been held successfully on May 23-25, 2025. The conference brings together industry academic elites and experts and scholars to conduct theme reports, oral reports and awards. The whole discussion atmosphere is warm, exchange the latest hot spots and achievements, and jointly discuss the latest research results, technological innovation and application cases in the field of electronics, circuits and information engineering.

The conference was hosted by South China University of Technology, organized by Electric Power Dispatching and Control Center of Guangdong Power Grid Co., LTD, Guangdong Electric Power Communication Technology Co., Ltd.. The activity aims to carry out in-depth exchanges on hot topics and pain points in electronic, circuit and information engineering, promote the transformation of scientific research and academic achievements and the gathering of talents, technology and capital through experience sharing and wisdom collision, and enhance the new momentum of the development of Zhejiang University of Technology.

At the opening ceremony, Prof. Beixiong Zheng from South China University of Technology (SCUT) chaired the morning session, Prof. Quan Xue, Dean of the School of Electronic and Information Engineering at SCUT, delivered the opening speech, extending a warm welcome to all attending leaders, experts, and distinguished guests. Dean Xue emphasized that the university would seize this opportunity to vigorously promote industry-academia-research collaboration from a higher starting point, deepen university-enterprise cooperation, and jointly advance innovation and progress in the field of information science.

During the morning plenary session, Professor Rui Zhang from the National University of Singapore & The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Professor Jijie Huang from University College London, Professor Yingjun Zhang from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Professor Jiangang Lu from the Power Dispatching and Control Center of Guangdong Power Grid Corporation delivered keynote presentations. They shared their research findings and professional insights, offering inspiration and food for thought to the attendees. The session presented a high-level, forward-looking academic feast rich in content

The afternoon session was divided into two parallel sub-forums, featuring Invited Presentations and Oral Presentations. For the Invited Presentations segment, we were honored to have: Professor Yuli Yang from Soochow University, Engineer Shi Zhan from the Power Dispatching and Control Center of Guangdong Power Grid Corporation, Engineer Zhang Peiming from the Power Dispatching and Control Center of Guangdong Power Grid Corporation, and Professor Xing Hong from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) deliver special invited reports to the conference. The participating scholars and experts engaged actively, collectively creating a vibrant and stimulating atmosphere for academic exchange.
